How the Study Circle works
One person subscribes for $59.99/mo and gets a shareable invite code. Up to 3 more students— siblings, friends, your study group, anyone — enter the code on their own free account and instantly get the full AI Student experience. Everyone keeps their own private account, chats, and grades; one person pays one bill. Split it four ways and it's $12.50 each.
Drop-in group sessions — from $15
A real tutor and up to three other students. Bring whatever you're stuck on — tomorrow's quiz, the question you keep getting wrong — and get unstuck in an hour. No subscription, no scheduling back-and-forth.
A private tutor locally runs $50–$80/hr. Our 1:1 is $40. A drop-in seat is $15 — and your tutor still earns more per hour than they would teaching one student, which is why good ones show up.
Sessions run once at least 2 people join. If a session doesn't fill, it's cancelled and refunded in full — you're never charged for a room that didn't happen.
Private 1:1 tutoring is pay-per-session
Plans cover the AI. When you book a live video session with one of our human tutors, you pay that tutor's posted hourly rate ($20–$50/hr) at checkout — no subscription required. Kaizen keeps an 11% platform fee out of the tutor's earnings, never added on top of your price. Your first session is free, and you can cancel any session for a full refund up to 24 hours before it starts.
Paid plans renew monthly at the price shown until you cancel from your billing page (effective at period end; we email before any price change).
